While Microsoft itself has yet to announce the full slate of new games coming to Xbox Game Pass in September 2026, prior release date announcements have clued fans in on what to expect from the service next month. Xbox Game Pass has had its ups and downs in 2026, but one consistent has been a steady stream of new games debuting on the service.

Those that are signed up for the Ultimate and PC tiers of Xbox Game Pass are treated to brand-new, day one releases each and every month. These brand-new games give those tiers of Game Pass a lot of value, and if you are someone that was going to play these games anyway, it basically pays for itself. As far as the new games coming in September, eight have been confirmed so far, but it's entirely possible that more will be announced soon.

The latest title from an influential developer is now available on Xbox Game Pass, arriving just as another game reaches a new tier of the service.

The new Xbox Game Pass games coming in September 2026 are Shelldiver on September 1, Moonlighter 2 on September 2, Speedrunners 2: King of Speed on September 3, Dice a Million on September 4, RuneScape: Dragonwilds on September 15, Dune: Awakening on September 22, Well Dweller on September 22, and Minecraft Dungeons 2 on September 29. Clearly, September is shaping up to be a busy month for Game Pass subscribers , with a great deal of variety on offer.
