Developer CD Projekt Red has slightly increased the price of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt one month before the game's anticipated remaster launches on all current-gen platforms. As one of the most acclaimed open-world games of all time, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt contains hundreds of hours of content for players to consume.

Ahead of Gamescom, CD Projekt Red issues a new statement regarding The Witcher 4's planned release date and what fans can expect in the meantime.

After surprising fans by revealing The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Remastered at Gamescom Opening Night Live, players who have not yet dived into the game will have to pay a slightly higher price now. 99 on all platforms as of this writing. Though the $10 price hike was not publicly announced by The Witcher 3 's development team, it did not go unnoticed by players. The move was made one month ahead of the launch of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Remastered , which will be available on Tuesday, September 29, as a free update for all players who have purchased The Witcher 3 at any point.
