When it comes to horror, nobody stands atop the genre like Stephen King. Since his first release — Carrie — in 1974, King has become arguably the most famous author of the modern age, both within horror and across the medium alike. His prominence has led to virtually all of his work being adapted for film or television, including releases of the aforementioned supernatural school-age thriller starring Sissy Spacek. Surprisingly enough, however, the critically-acclaimed take of what many consider his best work has been ghosted by all streaming platforms entirely.
