Solo Leveling Unveils New National Level Hunter

Hunters in Solo Leveling are not created equal. Upon awakening their powers, every Hunter is measured, and their grade is determined. While the weakest of the bunch are known as E-Rank Hunters, the strongest are classified as S-Rank Hunters. Even among the S-Ranks, there is a massive disparity in power. In fact, some are so powerful that they go on to achieve the title of National Level Hunter.

National Level Hunters are hunters so powerful that they could take down a whole country all by themselves. Canonically, in Solo Leveling, there are only four National Level Hunters that are recognized by the Hunter Association, those being Thomas Andre, Liu Zhigang, Christopher Reed, and Siddharth Bachchan. Unfortunately, in the main Solo Leveling story, Siddharth Bachchan was quite an irrelevant character overall, despite his high ranking. Solo Leveling: Arise is officially fixing that and bringing him into the game in full force. With his Hunter origin story, we could also get to learn more about this mysterious National Level Hunter from India.

Solo Leveling had its grand breakthrough in 2024 when its anime adaptation by Aniplex and A-1 Pictures finally aired. With its massive success, the series quickly followed up with a new video game by Netmarble Studio, which was also released in 2024, known as Solo Leveling: Arise. This release is a gacha-style video game, and because of that, we see continuous updates every month, giving us new additions, including new characters and weapons. Solo Leveling: Arise is not canon, but it keeps expanding on the lore of Solo Leveling in its own way.
