Having played out both outcomes, it's largely down to whether you want to experience the subquests and loyalty missions tied to the Mandalorian's character. The game clearly also wants you to hire Cly, as if you choose not to, Neesh gives you a chance to reconsider and walk the back immediately, as if signalling that this is not the best choice.

There's one downside though: Cly's missions usually occur abruptly and have to be completed within the same day, as well as not including any meaningful rewards. This can throw a potential wrench in your long-term plans, but I'd still say it's worth it.
