Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls has a pretty well-rounded roster of characters, but inevitably, someone will be deemed the worst. Ideally, the gap between the worst character and the second-worst character isn’t that wide, but according to many players, Tōkon’s last-place recipient is trailing far behind the rest of the cast. That character is Danger, the sentient robot that acts as a representative of the Danger Room training area from the X-Men comics.
Danger was already one of the more obscure characters in Tōkon’s line-up, so at a glance, it might make a lot of sense that she isn’t seeing as much use, as it could perhaps just be attributed to a lot of people being unfamiliar with the hero. But according to a lot of players, she’s just not up to par with most of the cast. Her kit is based around orb-like modules that she can set and detonate across the screen or teleport to, though her actual mobility is arguably some of the worst in the game. She’s slow-moving without the ability to run like other characters, and while her special aerial dash can help you with mixups, the act of actually closing the distance is risky, or requires some setup in a way that most characters’ movement doesn’t.
“Her zoning’s not that great, her air dash sucks, her buttons are whatever,” fighting game streamer Cloud_805 said while ranking the roster on Twitch. “She does have a good assault assist, the drill that’s very active, very plus, but she just has to work so hard.
