Earlier this year, a game rating that was posted by the Game Rating and Administration Committee of Korea let slip that a game called Lego Skylines was in development, and while that name alone doesn't give us much, it was also revealed that the game will be published by Paradox. So, there's only one thing that it could really be.
Yes, we've known about a potential Lego take on Cities Skylines for quite a while now, but we only had the rating to go off. It's been a few months, but Paradox has now finally shown off the game for real at this year's Gamescom Opening Night Live showcase.
Just as expected, this is pretty much just Cities Skylines but Lego. All the game's trailer was built and captured in game, and we see houses made of Lego being plopped down and made in real time. It then pans out to show off a small village, and smaller events such as a big house fire, before then panning out again to show off a small city.
Exodus gets a release date in its next trailer: April 7, 2027.
Unfortunately, we didn't get a release date, or even a release window, so we have no idea when it will be launching. You can actually go and wishlist the game right now, but as for a date to put in your calendar, we'll have to wait for that one.
