There are 4 masks on Rex Infernus, and each of them provides a unique special effect that will help you get to high rounds. Some masks provide damage immunity, others provide useful ammo mod benefits, and you're not going to want to miss out on acquiring them all! The first mask you can get is the Skull Mask. This requires you to stay in Her House until Round 8. You will need to melee the painting just to the right of the fireplace (opposite Quick Revive), and every few rounds a random reward will appear. However, you cannot take the reward. Instead, ignore the reward and your third reward will always be the Skull Mask.
You can also return to Her House if you're not comfortable staying here until Round 8 with no upgrades and Perks by using the guide linked above.
The Skull Mask gives you the Stone Cold Stronghold effect , which was a Perk from Black Ops 4 Zombies . To use the Skull Mask, stand completely still, and a purple ring of fire will protect you. Any zombie that steps in this ring is instantly killed, but it only lasts for around 3 seconds before you need to do it again.
