Cisco is rolling out its artificial intelligence (AI) agent, MyAgent, to 90,000 employees, Thimaya Subaiya, executive vice president, operations at Cisco, said in a Thursday (Aug. 27) blog post.
MyAgent is built on Cisco’s secure, governed, multi-model agnostic AI platform, Circuit, and allows employees to access approved large language models, agents and enterprise data, according to the post.
MyAgent performs supervised autonomous workflows across Outlook, Webex, Jira, SharePoint and other applications; enables employees to delegate work by defining an objective and allowing the system to coordinate the necessary steps; and connects across systems, per the post.
A key feature of MyAgent is that it remembers users’ preferences, past interactions and context over time. This capability enables a more personalized experience, continuity and relevance across interactions and workflows, according to the post.
In addition, MyAgent can be securely accessed from anywhere, and it stays connected to applications and data. This means it is ready to assist, without interruption, per the post.
“Built by Cisco, for all Cisco employees, we can translate this into the blueprint that helps our customers and partners implement Enterprise AI at scale, helping them achieve their own transformative outcomes,” Subaiya said in the post. “That is what it means to move from AI experimentation to enterprise execution, and from execution to enduring competitive advantage.”
The PYMNTS Intelligence report “ The Enterprise AI Payback Curve: Adoption Accelerates as Returns Take Shape ” found that among financial services, healthcare and media firms, the newest forms of AI are being broadly employed or embedded in data and technology processes as well as payments and finance processes.
