The N3 category recorded 821 unit sales in the period Jan 2026-July 2026, while the N1 and N2 categories accounted for 13,973 units.

In the e-HCV (N3) segment, Energy In Motion leads with 206 units, followed by IPL Tech.

In the e-LCV (N1, N2) segment for the same period, Tata Motors leads with 6,282 units, followed by Euler Motors with 3,753 units.

Maharashtra recorded the highest market share and EV penetration of 1.59% with 466 e-N3 units sold, followed by Rajasthan with 0.68% (113 units) and Chhattisgarh with 0.58% (49 units).

In Maharashtra, EIM led the market with 172 units, followed by SANY with 123 units.

July 2026 recorded the highest monthly e-HCV sales of the year, with 208 units.

3,74,730 Goods carriers were registered in India, of which 13,973 were electric , for an EV share of only 3.7%.

Delhi recorded the highest EV penetration of 9.9% with 1,118 units, followed by Rajasthan with 6.5% (1,678 units) and Odisha with 6% (657 units).

Tata Motors led the top five states with an overall 45% market share, while Euler Motors secured the second position with 26.9% market share.

In Delhi, Euler Motors has led the market with 530 units, followed by Tata Motors with 341. While in Rajasthan, Tata Motors led the market with 790 units, followed by Mahindra LMM with 441 units and Euler Motors with 391 units.
