Tides of Annihilation has confirmed Resident Evil Requiem actress Angela Sant'Albano as the new voice of Gwendolyn.
Eclipse Glow Games announced the news at gamescom Opening Night Live (ONL) 2026. It came with a new trailer for the highly anticipated Arthurian action-RPG, giving Tides of Annihilation fans a taste of Sant'Albano's new take on Gwendolyn.
"In the trailer, a distraught Gwendolyn considers her new reality amidst the ash of a ruinous London before being encouraged by the legendary Guinevere to harness the power of the Fog - a power only King Arthur once wielded - to save both London and the otherworldly realm of Avalon from total annihilation," an official description said. "Embracing her destiny, Gwendolyn takes up the sword and learns to fight alongside powerful spectral knights; this new trailer debuts the legendary Sir Lancelot summoned by Gwendolyn to dispatch enemies in spectacular style."
Sant'Albano is a star with a resume that includes parts in The Nevers, and Disney's live-action Dumbo movie, but the gaming world is still celebrating her for the part she played in Resident Evil Requiem. She showed up in Capcom's ninth mainline installment as Grace Ashcroft, a newcomer to the series with a shaky voice and deadly aim.
Despite half of the last Resident Evil being carried by fan-favorite zombie-slayer Leon S. Kennedy, Sant'Albano helped Grace emerge as yet another one of the series' memorable characters. Now, she's officially set to help do the same for Tides of Annihilation.
"I am beyond thrilled—and deeply honored—to officially announce that I’m stepping into the role of Gwendolyn in Tides of Annihilation," Sant'Albano said in a statement.
