A Star Wars tactics game might not have been on many people's radars for games they absolutely have to check out, especially as we're about to head into the busiest September for game releases in recent history. Well, bad news if you were trying your best to ignore Star Wars Zero Company, as, according to its review scores, it's not a game you're going to want to miss.
Reviews for the tactics game set in a galaxy far, far away are in, and they're not just stellar, but they have landed Zero Company among the highest-rated games of the year so far. The Star Wars game currently has an impressive 87 on OpenCritic. That ranks right up there alongside triple-A heavyweights like 007 First Light and Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls.
While its score of 86 on Metacritic isn't quite as high, it's still very impressive. It's a strong enough score to comfortably place it among the top ten highest-rated Star Wars games ever, and it's a higher score than both of the well-loved Star Wars: Jedi games.
5/5. "Zero Company is the game we need right now. It shows societal outcasts living under a government that doesn’t want them to exist. It shows people who can survive under bigotry choosing to stand by their friends who can’t. It shows solidarity during a time when that has never been more important," Bevan's review, which you can check out in full here , reads.
