Kingdom Hearts Will See More "Big" News This Year

A reliable insider who correctly reported that Coco was going to confirmed for Kingdom Hearts 4 at D23 has teased that more “big” announcements are coming before the end of the year.

As great as it is that Kingdom Hearts has finally come back in earnest over the past few months, it does have the dangerous side effect of getting all of our hopes up. Now that Square Enix has confidently shared more details about Kingdom Hearts 4 and when it’s going to arrive, fans are expecting to see it a lot more often.

That made last night a bit of a disappointment, as Kingdom Hearts 4 was nowhere to be seen at Gamescom’s Opening Night Live showcase. While that might convince some of you that Kingdom Hearts is taking a bit of a rest before a massive 2027, a trusted insider has suggested that’s actually not the case.

Before Kingdom Hearts 4 made a surprise appearance at D23’s entertainment panel last week, reliable movie insider DanielRPK reported that something to do with Coco and Kingdom Hearts was being announced. DanielRPK even said that it could have something to do with a Coco world, which ended up being exactly right.

Richtman also said that the announcement could be for the rumoured TV show, which also ended up being right as it was a few reveals in one.

The latest trailer for Kingdom Hearts 4 might be short, but it’s absolutely packed with easy to miss details.
