GTA 6 leaker goes full cornball in newest videos, insists 'using crypto is the only way'

Listen, I know the last week of GTA 6 leaks have let us all—except the employees of Rockstar—enjoy a bit of collective mania. But as time goes on, I'm beginning to suspect that the mysterious leaker who's been using their illicit GTA 6 footage as a vehicle for their personal memecoin scheme might have ulterior motives.

As Take-Two's subpoena-seeking effort to track down the leaker intensifies, Cyberleek seems to be responding to the increasingly obvious writing on the wall by leaning even harder into the crypto cornball act. In a fresh pair of GTA 6 gameplay uploads, the world's most wanted allium has descended to a new low of sheer saucelessness as they seek additional funds for their alleged "operational costs."

As with Cyberleek's previous leaks, their two newest GTA 6 videos—one showing protagonist Jason puttering around a nightclub, another capturing an evening bike ride at a Vice City beach—prominently feature a text screed and QR code directing viewers to the website where they've been able to "support" Cyberleek's "effort" (i.e. give them electronic crime money).

The watermark's latest iteration, however, indicates Cyberleek isn't enjoying the scrutiny that comes with using the highest-profile game leak for peddling cryptocurrency.

"Stop the hate. Channel that energy into protests. Not at those actually fighting for you," Cyberleek writes. "CL is taking huge risks in this battle. Leeks are free and donations cover operational costs, using crypto is the only way."

Cyberleek has repeatedly claimed to be "fighting for gamers" throughout this debacle, but so far hasn't provided any explanation as to how they intend to do so beyond writing a generic manifesto and urging viewers to stand outside Rockstar' offices while holding game discs .
