After teasing its upcoming collaboration with Swedish furniture brand Ikea, Xbox has revealed everything the unlikely team-up is going to offer. Not only that, but it has revealed how much every item in the collection will cost, and confirmed you'll be able to buy the officially licensed Xbox furniture from your local Ikea starting on October 1, 2026.
As promised, the collection will be getting a full, in-person reveal today at Gamescom, where those in attendance will be able to pick up its d-pad cushions and sit on its thumbstick stools. For the rest of us, images will have to do for now, and below you'll find pictures of items in the nine-piece YXSTABY collection along with how much everything is going to cost.
The thumbstick stools are most definitely the centerpiece of the collection. Modeled after the sticks on your Xbox controller, the stools have been seriously scaled up so you can sit on them. Available in standard black or Xbox green, the stools have an MSRP of £35 ($48), and while fun, I'm unconvinced that they'll be all that comfortable. I guess I'll find out one way or the other on October 1 when I'm banging on Ikea's door so I can get in, try them out, and inevitably leave with about five of them.
Even if your thumbstick stool isn't quite comfortable enough, there's something else in the collection that can help fix that - the D-pad cushion. Only available in Xbox green, the cushion is modeled after a four-button D-pad and costs £12 ($17).
