GTA 6 Extended Look: Start Time, Where To Watch, And What To Expect

Tomorrow, August 27, marks the debut of the long-awaited Grand Theft Auto 6: Extended Look event, so here’s everything we know about it so far to get you prepared.

As the whole world is painfully aware of by now, GTA 6 has been having a bit of a rough week. Just over seven days ago, hacker group Cyberleek somehow gained access to the game and started leaking gameplay footage from it, which they’ve been doing nearly every day since then with more detailed videos.

GTA 6 getting leaked was never going to be good for Rockstar and Take-Two, but it’s especially frustrating considering it had just announced the Extended Look for August 27 as the proper gameplay debut. That event is finally right around the corner and ready for us all to see the game at its best, so here’s everything you need to know.

The Grand Theft Auto 6: Extended Look is a special deep dive into the game that’s presumably going to give us a proper look at how it plays for the first (official) time. We don’t have a confirmed run time for the event just yet, but it’s been rumoured to run for between 20 and 30 minutes, if it doesn’t end up having multiple episodes.

Sony is right - Grand Theft Auto 6 is probably going to play best on PlayStation.

As confirmed earlier in the month, the Extended Look is going to debut on Netflix first , which has the exclusivity rights for six hours before the trailer goes live on Rockstar’s official YouTube channel .
