DBS will offer up to S$3 PayLah! cashback at participating hawkers and heartland businesses every Saturday from 29 August 2026.
The campaign will run for 17 Saturdays until 19 December, five weeks longer than its previous edition.
Around 2.7 million rewards will be available, about 40% more than last year.
The first 160,000 customers on each eligible day can receive the cashback when they scan to pay with DBS PayLah! at participating hawker stalls, coffee shops, wet markets and heartland shops.
The offer forms part of the DBS Saturday Savings programme under the bank’s S$10 million support package.
The programme began in July with S$3 discounts on eggs and rice at Sheng Siong and Giant supermarkets islandwide.
More than 440,000 of these supermarket offers have been redeemed so far, delivering combined savings of over S$1.3 million, according to DBS.
“Every dollar saved matters, especially amid today’s rising costs. We’re pleased to bring back our PayLah! cashback campaign for the fourth year to help make essential spending a little bit lighter for our customers.
It also encourages more to support our neighbourhood businesses, allowing the benefits to flow back into the heartland communities we serve,”
DBS introduced the weekly incentive for hawker meals in 2023 and extended it to wet markets and heartland shops the following year.
Food and grocery purchases at these businesses now account for half of all PayLah! Scan to Pay transactions.
Of those who redeemed the offer in 2025, 36% were senior citizens, earned less than S$2,500 a month or met both criteria.
