AFFIN and BCA Cardholders Get New Cross-Border Perks

AFFIN Bank and PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) have signed a cross-promotion agreement giving their credit cardholders reciprocal lifestyle perks and privileges across Malaysia and Indonesia.

The agreement covers benefits such as exclusive discounts, complimentary gifts, upgrades, preferential pricing and priority access to concerts, hotels, dining, department stores and other selected merchants.

Under the arrangement, BCA credit cardholders get special benefits when paying at merchants designated by AFFIN. AFFIN credit cardholders get privileges at merchants designated by BCA.

AFFIN will announce details on participating merchants and offer mechanics progressively through its official channels once the campaign begins on 20 August 2026.

“We are delighted to partner with AFFIN on this strategic cross-promotion,” said Hendra Lembong, President Director of BCA. “This collaboration reflects our vision of creating a more integrated ASEAN banking ecosystem, where seamless access to lifestyle privileges and services enhances the overall customer experience.”

“We are excited that this marks the beginning of a strategic collaboration, creating a virtual bridge between Malaysia and Indonesia through the integration of our financial services and customer support networks,” said Datuk Wan Razly Abdullah, President and Group Chief Executive Officer of AFFIN Bank Berhad.

He added that the partnership will evolve into jointly developed products and services for customers in both markets.

AFFIN operates 145 branches across Malaysia, carries a Moody’s A3 rating, and has a market capitalisation of around RM6 billion.

BCA, Indonesia’s largest private bank, serves 42 million customer accounts through more than 1,270 branches and 20,374 ATMs, processing over 124 million transactions daily.
