My latest trip through Steam in search of another upcoming indie game to get excited about eventually led me to Wild Forest Studio's Dragon Shelter, a cozy farm life sim that feels like Stardew Valley and Disney Dreamlight Valley had a baby, with a bit of How to Train Your Dragon thrown in for good measure. There is certainly plenty of farming here, as I spent a good portion of my time planting crops, watering them, and eventually harvesting them for ingredients. However, Dragon Shelter is also heavily focused on helping rebuild the nearby town, which meant I was constantly running back and forth between my farm and its residents to complete requests for them, with many of those requests involving, believe it or not, cooking.
