The game industry’s biggest convention is back. Gamescom 2026 kicks off in Germany this week, beginning with Opening Night Live before spilling onto the show floor for days of demos, reveals, and hands-on looks at some of the biggest games on the horizon. We already know a few confirmed titles: Final Fantasy 7: Revelation gameplay, our first gameplay look at Game of Thrones: War for Westeros , new details on The Witcher 3: Songs of the Past , and more from Warlock: Dungeons & Dragons .

And then there are the things we’re dreaming to see : a meaningful Witcher 4 update, any sign of Resident Evil Code: Veronica , a few badly needed boosts for Sony’s AAA lineup, and, frankly, Nintendo showing us anything at all.
