Sasuke Uchiha is the deuteragonist of the original Naruto series, whom Masashi Kishimoto wrote to be just as important as the protagonist, Naruto Uzumaki himself. For years, Sasuke Uchiha went on an incredible, compelling journey, which saw him turn from Naruto's best friend to one of his biggest enemies, and in the end, his friend again, who would even lay his own life on the line.
