Godrej Industries group signs pact to invest Rs 20,000 crore in Haryana

Godrej Industries Group plans a substantial Rs 20,000 crore investment in Haryana. This initiative is expected to generate approximately 40,000 new employment opportunities across the state. Godrej Properties Limited will lead this expansion, investing an additional Rs 16,000 crore by FY28. Godrej Ventures will also invest Rs 3,500 crore in Gurugram's office infrastructure. These combined efforts will significantly boost Haryana's economic development and employment landscape.

Godrej Industries Group has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Haryana, outlining a future investment plan of approximately Rs 20,000 crore in the state, with the potential to create around 40,000 jobs. The MoU was signed in the presence of Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini. Godrej Industries Group has invested approximately Rs 12,000 crore in Haryana to date and employs around 9,000 people across its businesses in the state, the company said in a media release on Monday. Godrej Properties Ltd (GPL) will be a key driver of the group's investment plans. Having invested approximately Rs 11,000 crore in Haryana to date, GPL plans to invest a further Rs 16,000 crore by FY28, taking its total investment in the state to around Rs 27,000 crore. The company currently has 18 projects across Gurugram, Sonipat, Faridabad, Panipat and Kurukshetra, with its future projects expected to create more than 11,000 jobs. Advt

Godrej Ventures, the group's real estate private equity business, has invested around Rs 1,000 crore in Haryana and plans to invest a further Rs 3,500 crore in Grade A+ office infrastructure in Gurugram.
